Terms of Use
All AsCollected projects remain private until a participating author explicitly chooses to make them public by generating a shareable link (URL).
Currently, AsCollected does not offer a search function for public projects. As a result, even public projects are accessible only to individuals who possess the direct URL or who locate the project through external search engines (e.g., Google). Please note that this may change in the future without prior notice. Additionally, public projects are not blocked from indexing by third-party services, such as search engines. Authors should therefore assume that any project made public may eventually be discoverable through web searches.
All public projects are backed up to the Web Archive (webarchive.org) shortly after being made public, and this archive is permanent.
AsCollected.org does not share information from private projects or identifying details from anonymous projects with third parties, except under the following circumstances:
As part of a formal investigation of academic misconduct initiated by a university, journal, scientific society, or funding agency,
When required to do so by law.
